The hike goes through one of the most impressive jungle gorges in La Palma with giant ferns, thick moss and gigantic laurel trees. This type of forest dates back to the time of the dinosaurs and can only be found on a few islands today. We take a break at a lookout point and enjoy the view of the lush greenery, the coast and the sea. A wonderful circular route that can be a bit slippery in places.<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards we drive to the picturesque village of San Andr\u00e9s, from where we walk along a wonderful coastal path to the pretty natural swimming pools of Charco Azul. A refreshing swim in the crystal clear water concludes our tour.
